My Approach

I support folks who are struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, overwhelm and burnout. I specialize in supporting people who work in helping professions and creative fields

I offer a space and structure that helps foster curiosity and safety for exploration.

I am a trauma-informed therapist- I know the adverse impacts physical and relational trauma can have on one's functioning, coping strategies, nervous system and connection with self and others. With this knowledge, I take a holistic approach considering your mental, emotional, physical and social interconnectedness and the impact on wellbeing.

The foundation of my work is based on consent and unconditional positive regard for your humanness.

I assist people in contacting and exploring the ways they relate to themselves and the world around them. It can feel risky to do things differently, but I believe that in a safe, trusted
environment one can connect with the confidence to explore, practice and engage the world in new and profound ways.

I utilize a psychodynamic framework, this is an in-depth therapy approach, helping clients uncover unconscious feelings, thoughts, beliefs and behaviors.

Additionally, I pull from the Internal Family Systems Model and The Trauma Resiliency Model helping clients explore their internal complexity in a deep and embodied way. I am currently studying and being trained in The Neuro-Affective Relational Model (level 2)- a mind-body framework that works to resolve complex-trauma.

I bring mindfulness- based skills and approaches that can help guide you to reconnect with your body and mind, contributing to regulation, insight and healing.

I believe in therapy and the healing that can happen when we get curious, without judgement, exploring new ways of relating to ourselves and others.

I believe that you can move from feelings of overwhelm and worry to a place of calm and safety. You can move from feeling stuck to finding freedom. From feeling alone to connectedness.
